Viewing a password protected Excel file within a confluence page

I’ve staged a password protected Excel file on a confluence page.

Using the ‘View’ option to view the contents in the browser (IE) it produces an error;

viewfile: com.benryan.conversion.ConversionException: com.aspose.cells.CellsException: Please provide password for the Workbook file.

Is there any way to do this (i.e. storing the workbook password as an attribute of the attachment), other than opening the file fully within Excel?

Seems that you are experiencing the bug reported here: CONF-20943

Unfortunatelly there's no workaround yet. So I'll ask you to vote on this bug so the developers can check this!
