We have multiple instances of jira in the company. But one instance of confluence. We want to use some dashboard gadgets from jira in confluence. So say when you add the pie chart gadget from one instance into external gadgets in confluence, and then add the pie chart gadget from another jira instance in they look exactly the same when searching from the macro dialogue box, only when you hover your mouse over the xml address are you able to see they are different.
Is there a better way of differentiating them that can be done by tweaking a setting or xml change?
Hi @Fred ,
Few suggestions that may help.
1. Place a footer note which Jira instance is it from and the context. Same way if you were documenting a table or a graph.
2. Wrap it in one of panels like notes/info and indicate the instance and context of the chart.
Thanks,
Ben
Thanks Ben, but I am not sure you have grasped the issue I am having. It is not that I need to differentiate between the two charts on my actual confluence page. But on the macro page where you select the gadget from.
