Using Confluence Database as an enhanced Table of Contents for a Confluence Space

Amelia Fraczkowski August 30, 2024

For each Confluence Space, there is the "All Content" page, which provides a current overview of all the pages in that space. However, the customisation options are very limited unlike that of Confluence Database.

Question 1. Is there anyway to configure the Confluence Database to include an up to date list of pages in a Space? That is, to include new pages created even after the database was initially setup?

I am aware that now when setting up a database you get the option to link content from Jira or Confluence but I tried clicking on "insert results" (hoping the unfiltered list contains all confluence pages in the organisation so that I could import all and then use better filtering) without using any filtering option but clicking the button did nothing. I tried using the filter to filter the pages by typing the name of the "Space" but did not filter the results as expected.

Question 2. I raised this question https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Shortcut-to-add-quot-Page-Link-quot-entries-to-confluence/qaq-p/2597061   sometime ago but as the functionality is evolving, is there a better way to do this provided there is no solution to question 1 above?

Hi @Kristian Klimayou kindly helped me with a solution https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Shortcut-to-add-quot-Page-Link-quot-entries-to-confluence/qaq-p/2597061  to my previous question on a similar topic, do you have any insights to share on this question?
