Usage of Confluence for a project/team review

I wonder how do YOU use Confluence for a task like a project review or team review?

We have issues in Jira, but I prefer to use Confluence for a review because it has the ability to show the issues +record textual information.

I was expecting to be able to add a list of jira issues (from a project or a filter) with customized view, and be able to edit each specific issue or attribute easily from Confluence. But this does not seem to be the case. I dont want to be switching between jira and Confluence (in read and edit mode) all the time!

Maybe i'm misunderstanding something...

So how are you managing information while discussing with the team manager or project manager?

  • updates on issues
  • create new issues
  • create actions in Confluence
  • create new risks
  • add general information
  • add decisions

As a representative of the Stiltsoft team, I can name several tips that may be achieved with the help of our app that is Table Filter and Charts for Confluence (maybe you already have the add-on installed for your instance):

  • you may create Jira dashboards (including Gantt chart based on Jira issues) right in Confluence (the documentation is here)
  • you may add manually created comments to the tickets coming from the Jira Issues macro (check the second part of this Community thread)
  • you may use our macros to count/filter empty and non-empty checkboxes if you use tables for action items' creation

Unfortunately, at the moment we don't have any options to pass updates from Confluence to Jira.
