Unable to save changes to Space permission

Hi there,

I am trying to amend the permissions on a particular Space in Confluence, but for some reason my changes are not being saved.

I have added a Licensed User (who is already an active user in our system) as both an individual, and also as part of a new group I created specifically.

But when I click Save All, the screen is returned back the way it was, with my new Space admin removed. I am overall admin, so I'm not sure why this is happening. I see no error messages, or anything else to suggest a problem.

Am I missing something?

As soon as I posted, I found the answer - it was because my new group didn't have access to Confluence!

As soon as I added that product access, I could add my group to the Space permissions screen and amend appropriately.

Doesn't explain why I couldn't add the person individually (or maybe it does...) but I'm sorted.
