Hi,

do it the easy way:

* Use a reverse proxy server (Apache HTTPD or NGINX)

It's pretty easy to setup & you don't have to merge any certificate files into a Java keystore.

Please check:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/proxy-and-https-setup-for-confluence-950286281.html

if this is solution for you.

Another advantage:

You can run all Atlassian tools (and other tools as well) using a single URL eg:

https://my.domain.com/confluence

https://my.domain.com/jira

https://my.domain.com/bitbucket

https://my.domain.com/your other tools...

without configuring SSL all the time.

Anyway, you will need SSL on the Confluence site directly, IF the traffic between the proxy server and Confluence needs to be encrypted. This depends on your security requirements & network infrastructure.

Best

JP
