Thanks! I am able to use the admin account to log in but now when I try to check license to see why general users can not log in , i get a blank screen. I still do not know if the license is still valid but no other user can log in accept the default admin account that was first setup

Thanks, looks like we didnt setup an email address with this so all I have is a user account (I am assuming its the system administrator account log in based on the name). I know the password or the one they say it is suppose to be but its not working. Other users are also having the same issue logging in using known username/passwords. I am not very familiar with the setup and documentation is limited so I am trying to figure out where the local accounts might be configured and if I can change this from OS/Linux

@Andrew Wint the username is generated in the logs when you follow the steps in the KB. You do not have to know any of the information that was setup to do the recovery if you have access to the server that data center is running on.

I was given the default admin user credentials. Now I am still trying to determine why users can not log into confluence. I created a new user from Jira admin portal and i tried to log into confluence with these credentials and it is not allowing me in. When i log into confluence with the admin user account, I get in but when I try to check general configurations to see status of the licenses it just leaves the page gray (nothing comes back).
