Unable to Create New Space

I would like to create a new Space in Confluence. However, when I go to the Spaces drop-down menu, there is no option to "Create a space".

There is a blue button on my top toolbar that says "+ Create". However, this only allows me to create a new Page, Whiteboard, or Blog - not a Space.

Please help!

I understand you are having trouble creating a Space but not a Page.

• I believe the option "Create a Space"  is not visible on your end as in the following:

• Can you verify that your user is a product admin with the right permissions to create spaces? You can confirm it from the global permissions.
  
  Refer to the following:

• If no, you can Edit the permission and select Create Space to enable the permission and see if you can create a space.
