I am in the process of setting up confluence for my organisation.
I have an export from an old confluence setup that I wish to use and customise to suit the new one.
I have searched for the option and documentation on how to import a site/space into confluence but cannot find it.
Most articles I have read seem to suggest I click on the > General Configuration > Backup and Restore. but I can find no such Backup and restore option anywhere.
Hi @Matt O'Meara ,
Do you have site administrator rights and can you access the following functions?

Thanks for the reply.
I managed to find the "Import a Confluence Space" option but now I am getting an error message when I try and import the xml file
