Transform ID (security-groups) in smart multiselect

Trying to transform the ID (security groups) from form 2 as a list and add them for view restrictions to a page. Cant get this to work. Any idea what i'm doing wrong with the transform function?

Shouldn't this be working as explained here: https://wiki.vertuna.com/display/CONFIFORMS/Using+transform+function+with+smart+fields ?

Transforming the multi-value field referencing other multi-value field is something really over complicated. I am not sure why anyone will ever need that, but

fieldform1.fieldform2.transform(id.append( ))
