Hi All,
For the current issue, we have specific individuals assigned as the reporter and assignee. However, for future issues, we need to update the reporter and assignee. If I send an email to a specific email address, the issue will be created, but I need assistance in modifying the reporter and assignee settings. Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.
You can create an automation rule to update the Reporter and Assignee after Issue creation.
Trigger: When Issue Created
Condition: If Issue Type = xyz
Action: Then edit assignee & reporter

Automations will be the best solution. Addiung to Manoj's answer, you can also set the Default Assignee value on your JSM, which could temporarily help before testing your automations.
