I'm facing a difficulty in installing a plugin. The installation has been stuck and there has been no response. The system administrator suggests terminating this task. Could you advise me on how to terminate this task?

you can't terminate plugin installation task. There's a timeout on that and after a while it finish with errors if something goes wrong. Please, ask the system administrator to provide you atlassian-confluence.log file in order to figure out what is the problem on the installation process.
