Subscribe to recommended updates - default disabled

Is it possible, to disable this option per default for new confluence users?

"Subscribe to recommended updates"

Hi @Dominic Lagger,

You should be able to disable the recommended updates email in the administration menu > Configuration > Recommended Updates Email:

If this doesn't work, you may need to follow this troubleshooting page: Unable to disable the Send By Default option in Recommended Updates Email Configuration

Thanks a lot.

Do I turn off all recommended Email Updates? We have some people who want to get these mails. So I don't want to turn it for for everybody. 

Or is it just for new users?

Hi @Dominic Lagger,

It's only for new users: by default, this email won't be enabled, but they can opt in in their personal settings. So it will be all good for your current users :)
