Sourish Ghosh February 26, 2012

Hi,

I am using confluence 3.4.2. Is it possible to keep a space within another space in this version/higher versions of confluence??

You might also want to check out RefinedWiki's Original Theme. It makes it incredibly easy to manage and organize you spaces, including creating nested spaces.

Or you can use the subspace plugin. With this plugin you are able to create hierachcal space structures in a very fast way. Furthermore you have a nice navigationbar which you can display on each page.

Hi Sourish,

Unfortunately nested spaces is still one of the oldest and most requested features that has not yet been implemented. There's a discussion asking for requirements at http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DISC/Nested+Spaces and the feature request is being tracked at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-1095

So there's nothing natively in Confluence that supports this, but you might want to have a look at the Meta Data plugin - https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/5295 - as this allows you to define hiearchical spaces using meta-data.

Hope that's of some help?

Andrew.
