I am looking for a Confluence macro which can be used for a sortable & filterable Parent table, which receives feeds from various Child tables based on table tags.
Details:
The Parent page should accept the fields, very similar to the Page Properties Report and Page Properties macros, except what I am looking for, the Parent Page can sort & filter the content, and accept all the lower level table content.
Essentially, an excel table, which receives feeds from lower level tables, and the Parent table is sortable and filterable.
Which macro can do this?
Thank you
Hi @Wade Henderson ,
There are no such features out-of-the-box, the closest macro for this case is the Page Properties Report macro that you've mentioned yourself.
But you may try additional apps, for example, Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app.
Here is a step-by-step guide how to aggregate multiple tables onto one parent page with the help of the Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros, combine them into one big report with help of the Table Transformer macro and sort/filter your report using the Table Filter macro.
Hope this helps your case.
