Hi Team,

We are running with confluence 5.4.1, Here User directory synchronize happening successfully.

But few users are complaining that they are not able to login, upon checking user details, i could see Last failed login time stamp and failed login count are up to date.

But user last updated time is one month old, it should be current date.

regards,

venu

Hi Venu,

I suspect the directory sync in not fully functional. I recommend to perform the following:

  1. Login as local administrator of Confluence
  2. Disable the LDAP directory
  3. Create a new LDAP directory using the exact same settings as the first one
  4. Sync the new LDAP directory
  5. Check if the users are able to login (including the affected users)
  6. If all is good, remove the old directory

Always backup Confluence before attempting a major change like this.

Cheers!

Rodrigo
