I am trying to use the jira issues macro to share issues for an epic with stakeholders in Confluence. I have been able to set up the macro to display correctly on my end and for some users, however some users are reporting an error:
"Data cannot be retrieved due to an unexpected error. View these issues in JIRA"I am new to Jira. Is there a setting or permission I can check to see what is different between the sucessful and unsucessful users?
Note the jira project permissions are set to Default software scheme

As I understand, when you try to show Jira Issues with the Jira Issues macro in Confluence, the tickets are not displayed.
With this behavior in mind, I raise you the following questions:
- Is this error present no matter which project from Jira you try to show?
- Has the error appeared in another page or only a specific one?
You specified that “I have been able to set up the macro to display correctly on my end and for some users, however some users are reporting an error:”. There is a chance that those affected users are under the effects of this bug:
