Smooth formatting of images in panel is not possible in new Cloud Confluence Editor

Anand Rajaraman

In https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Fresh-full-width-and-colorful-new-features/ba-p/1191204 , formatting of images within panel is not happening as the way it used to happen in the old editor. I am trying to make my images fit to the center and is there a way?

Thanks,

Anand

Hello Anand,

Thank you for contacting us about this. Happy to help!

Can you help me understand what you're trying to do exactly? Are you trying to add an image to the Panel Macro? Or do you just need to center the image within your page or layout?

If you have an example of you want the page to look, please feel free to send an image of that.

Regards,

Shannon

Thanks @Shannon S . I was comfortable working with the way how old confluence editors behaved. For example, in between my numbered list if I want to position an image to the center, I just  used CTRL+Enter to fit my image to the center and then continued to number my list. But, with new look and feel the image is not getting aligned to the center consistently (rarely it works). Currently, I use layout to have my numbered list.

Regards,

Anand
