Smart values for custom content properties on Confluence pages

Does Confluence Cloud automation support smart value references for custom properties that have been added to pages? In particular, I'm talking about key-value pairs that you can for instance GET from or POST to a page via the REST API using the endpoint  

https://[domain].atlassian.net/wiki/api/v2/pages/[pageId]/properties

If there is, can someone please specify the schema for the smart value for me? I imagine it might  look something like {{page.properties.[keyName]}} or something of the sort.

Hi @IL I found this Knowledge article on Smart Values for Confluence from Atlassian. I may be missing something, but I don't see any Smart Values for custom field.
