Sidebar Default Behavior

Does anyone know what the default setting for the Confluence Sidebar is? I'm just curious to know if the sidebar is defaulted to collapse or uncollapsed. I have seen threads on how to hide the sidebar, so it seems like it is likely uncollapsed by default, but I can't find any official Atlassian documentation on this. Anyone know?

Hi Joseph,

The default setting of the sidebar is to be open, and not collapsed. If you wish to expand and collapse the sidebar, your shortcut is [. 

Your browser will also remember your preferences, so if you collapse it and come back later, it will be collapsed again.
