Showing labels in Confluence

Rumceisz March 24, 2013

Hi All,

in our Confluence the labels are heavily used by the developers. But in the other side we would like to have a list of all labels of all spaces in one view.

How is it possible to achieve? Is there a plugin for that?

Thanks for your advise!

Rumi

Hello Rumi,

I believe yet not. As Labels are directly related to Content into a Space, it has to appear inside one Specific Space, which then limits the action to a single Space. Thus why the Bug Report.

However you could try to create a JSP, which would then gather the all Spaces Labels.

There are some vm files which could help you on that that are located in:

  • <confluence-install>/confluence/labels/

Hope this helps,

Cheers,

Guilherme

Hi Rumi,

there's an old issue for that: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-21299

But unfortunately no solution, maybe someone knows a workaround.

Cheers

Thomas
