Showing issue color in Jira Macro in color not text

We are using the "Issue Color" option within Jira to denote RAG status. As part of sprint updates, we would like to use the Jira macro to show whether something is on track or not.  When I pull the "issue color" field into the macro it displays a text version of the color. Is there a way to show the actual Color box or even better yet, both the Color and text?

@gstoesz

Same as what @Brant Schroeder mentioned, the Jira macro does not have a built-in feature to display the actual color box for the "Issue Color" field

One option is to use the "Custom Content" macro provided by the app "Elements Connect for Jira". With this app, you can create a custom field that displays the color box and text, and then use the custom field in the "Custom Content" macro to display the information in your format.

Another option is to create a custom script using the Atlassian ScriptRunner app. The script can retrieve the color information and display it in the format you desire

@gstoesz I am assuming that there is no way to do this as Confluence just shows the value of the custom fields and does not have a way to translate that into a specific color.
