Show xlsx file as link by default

joris_monten_cegeka_com November 27, 2019

Hi all,

Currently I'm using the following method to upload XLSX files to an page:
- Edit the page
- Click on the +-icon
- 'Files and Images'
- Drag and drop the files and click 'Insert'

but then the xlsx file's are shown as preview on the page.

What I want is that it will be by default an link.
I know that I can use the 'Link' macro but then only 1 file at the time can be uploaded.

Any suggestions, help -> Thanks!

Hi Joris,

This is how I do it.

  1. On a page I add the Attachments macro, then edit it and specify to view only XLSX files (.*XLSX, then publish the page.
  2. A single XLSX file can be dragged and dropped onto the "Drag and drop to upload" section and then listed in the File Attachments area.

  3. OR if one has multiple files to upload the easiest way to do it is to click on the three dots menu at the top of the page right side, select attachments, and drag and drop multiple files on the square on the right. Attachments.png
