Setting company library for pages header images

Hi,

Is there an option to add a set or branded banners to the header images library so employees will be able to use them when creating new pages?

@Maya Fleisher Are you saying that you want to create a page template with multiple header images, such that someone could create a new page based on that template and then remove the images they don't want to use?

Looking at this page, it doesn't look like it's possible (in native Confluence) to have more than one header image on a page: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/make-your-page-and-its-title-more-memorable/

There may be a marketplace app that allows you to do this, so maybe someone will chime in with a suggestion.

Without an app, I would suggest 2 options:

  • Make multiple templates with a different image at the top of each.
  • Make a template with one image at the top, place your set of images in a location the employees can get to (or wait for Atlassian to solve the issue that allows you to select an image already attached to the page), and give them the instructions for how to replace the image with the one they want to/should use on their page.

Thank you @Barbara Szczesniak

I'm not talking about templates.

In the Confluence Cloud when you create a page there is an option to add header banner. You can either choose from a library or upload your own image.

I'm asking if it's possible for system admin to "push" company branded images so employees can use them instead of the generic images that are exist in the library.

Thanks

Thanks for the clarification, @Maya Fleisher

According to this question/answers from about 18 months ago, I do not think this is possible: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-Cloud-questions/Header-Image-Gallery-Location/qaq-p/1976427

I think what you would need to do is more like the 2nd option I mentioned above (without the template part). Just place your set of images in a location they can get to and give them instructions to go to that location when selecting the header image to use on their page.

Thank you for the answer Barbara
