is it possible to connect a Service Desk Cloud instance to an Confluence Server?

Hello there, @Sebastian Benz ! We can see that some might want to integrate different platforms, however, this type of integration does not deliver a good enough interaction between platforms.

As of 2018, March 7th this kind of integration is not possible. Here is an excerpt for our documentation on this:

We're changing how Jira Service Desk links to Confluence, and your service desk's knowledge base might be affected.

On 7 March, 2018, Jira Service Desk Cloud will no longer support links to:

• Confluence Server
• Confluence Cloud spaces hosted on a different domain

Why?

This change will help us improve how Jira Service Desk and Confluence integrate, and deliver you new knowledge base goodies in the future.
