I Search for a Google Authenticator based 2FA Plugin for Confluence. Any recomendations ?

A few days ago we (Polarnight) published our Polar SSO plugins to the Atlassian Marketplace.

Built into the app you get SAML & Kerberos SSO, in addition to multifactor authentication/verification using both FIDO and TOTP codes. 

Multifactor are controlled by a highly flexible policy framework that allow you to define who should be encouraged or required to use extra verification.

You can also log in directly without password using fingerprint, face recognition, USB security keys.

There multiple 2FA plugins available for on the Atlassian Marketplace which supports 2FA for Confluence.

Here is one of the plugins that support 2FA for Confluence using Google Authentication.

The plugin also provides the Security Question as a Backup method or as an emergency method. So, if the user doesn't have access to his phone, he can use it to get access to Confluence.

Also, it would be better if you can raise a support ticket to the vendor for faster resolution.

If you’re needing MFA for Confluence you do have multiple options in regards to products to use for MFA. There are a few products listed within the marketplace which support MFA, these products may be found at a preset search for Atlassian Marketplace | 2FA. Additionally, there are other products which support MFA such as, but not limited to:

• https://www.okta.com
• https://duo.com/docs/confluence
