Running into issues with PDF export of LaTeX Math Block References

I am using anchors in my "LaTeX Math Blocks" and referring to them using the "LaTeX Math Block Reference". Everything looks good within confluence but when I export to PDF I get two issues:

1. For the Math Blocks that use an anchor their number is rendering as (see page 3) instead of the (#) as expected and as seen in confluence.
2. Instead of being rendered as (#) the Math Block References are being rendered as (?)(see page 0).

Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated.
