Regulated industries require to have a document control process in place that also extends to forms and templates. This includes the need to keep a revision history.
While this is a core functionality for regular confluence pages, this seems to be missing for page templates.
Do I have overlooked something or is this really missing in confluence? Is there an addon or some other means to achieve this?

Hi @Jochen Neuhaus ,
Unfortunately this is not an existing feature in Confluence. There is an open ticket with Atlassian - CONFSERVER-5876, requesting for the same. You may want to add your vote to the ticket.
Thanks
Sireesha
There is a Votes option on the right panel of the page, in the People section.
Thanks!

Hello!
If interested, you can try https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1220906 (paid) plugin.
It has simple functions of templates versions control.
Thank you
