Hi *
We have a lot of spaces in our confluence. All users are in the group confluence-users to login.
Now we have some third party people, who just should see the the space xyz.
If they are only in group xyz without confluence-users, they could not login.
If they are although in group confluence-users, they could see too much.
Any simple way to make and let it simple :-)
Thanks!
Create a second group for them, and give that group "can use" permission, and permission to see XYZ, but no other spaces.
Then delete them from confluence-users.
It's not ideal - what you really should do is revise the whole lot - use confluence-users to mean "can log in" and absolutely nothing else, but there could be quite a lot of work to be done to implement that cleanly.
Hi Beitmann,
You can provide "Can-Use" permission for group xyz on "Global Permission" and give the necessary permission for this group on the selected spaces.
Hope it helps.

Oh yeah, need to remove them from confluence-users as Nic mentioned.
