Hey guys, does anyone know how to report on the new page status?
Use Case: show a list of pages with a certain page status (e.g,. "draft")
It's weird, none of the macros seemed to have a filter for them, neither in the Confluence search nor in the space administration.
Does anyone know about a solution for that? (I can imagine it's probably possibly with the Better Content Archiving App, but I'm looking for a standard Confluence approach.)
Cheers,
Florian
I believe the in built page status was never meant for reporting, just a flag for the reader.
We had to install Better Content Archiving, this applies status that is very different to the inbuilt one, but does enable reporting, etc.
Hey Lynne, you're probably right. It's just a pity, that it's just so basic/simple that you can't even report on them. :(
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
As you suggested, Better Content Archiving for Confluence can do this!
I provides the Content Status List macro which:
It looks like this:
Or, if you need a matrix-like report along multiple spaces, then the Content Status Overview report is very intuitive:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Thanks for the explanation about how your App can help with that! :)

We make a free addon: Keep it up to date!. This addon lists the page status. You can directly click through to the page.
Btw. you can't list the page status with a simple CQL query.

What a pity that's it's not just working with the good old CQL. :(
