Removing advert from top of pdf's

Lisa Manwaring August 29, 2024

Hi,

Is there a way to remove advert text from a page created pdf?

The advert does not show on the confluence page and only appears when a pdf is created.

This is the text that is appearing:

Hi @Lisa Manwaring

I don't always export PDFs but when I do, I don't see any ads.

Typically, you can tweak your PDFs by customizing PDF export settings CSS, but tweaking CSS to remove ads...

Do you have any Seibert Media or Appanvil apps installed (Aura, etc....)? I'd get in touch with their Support in that case.

(you can try Scroll PDF Exporter just to see if the ad appears in that too).

Yes, you can remove advert text from a PDF created from a webpage by using PDF editing software like Adobe Acrobat. Open the PDF in the editor, select the advert text using the "Edit" or "Redact" tool, and delete it. Alternatively, you can convert the PDF back to a Word document, remove the ads, and then re-save it as a PDF.
