Hi all, yes, my version features the ellipsis as opposed to the wording. Then once I established that the space admin had given me permissions to delete pages it was plain sailing. Thanks for your assistance - I'll probably be back!
Hi Max,
Welcome to the world of Confluence. To delete a page, just click Tools>Remove. It will go into Trash (Space tools>Content Tools>Trash) where you can Restore or Purge deleted pages at a later date.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You may need to have the "delete" rights added to you r account for this space.

Might be a cog to the top right of the page, depending on your version.

Depending on your version, the word "Tools" on the top right of the page (in the row where it says edit etc) menu has been replaced by an icon of three dots.

Rodney,
Aha, thanks for that point, that is the so-called 'ellipsis' which is making its way into other (even non-Atlassian) tools I've noted as of late, for access to a menu, joining the omnipresent 'gear' icon and often used when there is already a 'gear' icon in use elsewhere.
Max,
Not sure if you caught Nic's point earlier, but the space administrator - assuming you are not for the space you are working in - has to provide you with Page delete rights. That can be reviewed in Space Tools>Permissions>[find your name or the group you are in on the page]>Pages>Remove. If there is an 'X' and not a 'checkmark' at Pages>Remove for you, the permissions have to be amended (click Edit Permissions>[check that permission]>Save All.
