Reference to linked Jira

Lukas Mühlemann June 5, 2024

Is it possible to link a Jira issue to the Jira macro at one point on the page in Confluence and reference this input at another point on the page?

I would like to insert the macro once at the top of the page and insert a table with information about this issue at another place without having to insert the Jira number several times in the macro.

Thank you for your help.

Hi @Lukas Mühlemann ,

The Table Excerpt/Table Excerpt Include macros (that are provided by the Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app that we develop) support the macro generated tables as well as manually created ones.

So, you'll be able to reuse your Jira Issues table or even merge your Jira Issues table with a manually created table for comments and then reuse it as well (on the same page or wherever you need in Confluence).

If you are not familiar with the app, please book a live call with our team - we'll be able to discuss your use case in details.
