Dear all

I have 2 manually created tables in a Confluence page as follows:

Tables.jpg

my scenario/ask is ..

when i click on 'wew' in the 'A' Table, then it should point/move the mouse focus directly to 'B' Table 'wew' row

likewise, when i click on 'hj' in Table A, i should be directed to 3rd row of Table B 'hj'

using 'Table of contents' .wont help here as the scenario here is different as i mentioned above.

Note:

Both the Tables are on the same Confluence page.

Please help ..

Hi @Ramu ,

I would suggest taking a look at Anchors. Basically, you should be able to create anchors anywhere on the page and then use anchor links as 'hyperlinks' on specific parts of the content.

For example, you could create an anchor next to 'wew' in table "B" and then use link syntax such as

http://myconfluence.com/display/spacekey/pagename#pagename-anchorname

as a hyperlink at 'wew' in table "A".

It requires some manual work whenever creating these anchors, but I believe this could fulfill your requirement.

Cheers,
Tobi

Hey @Ramu ,

No problem. Although, a note that I don't have DC environment running so I'm doing it on cloud, but as this is old macro it should work almost the same.

  1. In table B, next to wew I've added Anchor macro and named it "wew-b"2025-01-13 22-33-05.png
  2. In table A, I've added a link to "wew" word with syntax: https://sitename.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/APP/pages/1901592577#wew-b
    2025-01-13 22-34-22.png

Once you publish the page, you should be redirected to the "wew" part in table B once you click on the link on "wew" in table A.

It should work vice versa too.

Again, there might be some differences while configuring it, so you might want to check official docs for DC.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Tobi
