Is there a way to change the CSS (or even a simplier way) so that the pages that are created with the new editor do not waste that much vertical space? On my cloud-hosted confluence instance, I cannot find a way to edit the CSS, which I found a year back when I self-hosted it.
In a word, no. It is a requested feature, but generally you have zero control over the CSS, unless you go with a paid custom theme.
Thank you. Then I will stay with the old editor and try to read past the warning at the bottom of each page.

Keep in mind that the old editor will go away at some point.
