Random Images are no longer loading / have gone missing from our help articles

We've noticed recently that random images on random confluence pages (on more than one Space) have started going missing and not loading. 

Two example public pages are listed below.
You'll see that the majority of the images on the first (quite lengthy) article are missing. These were recently replaced.

The second link is missing 3 images on the bottom (task scheduler) section which is strange as the image on that section that does load was added at the same time and in the same way (copy/paste from snipping tool).

We usually copy from snipping tool, MS Word or Paint (sometimes directly upload an image) and which ever way we try to replace certain images on certain pages they just disappear. We can replicate this everytime on certain pages. using the exact same image on other pages works fine. 

This is a recent issue (noticed in the past 10 days) as we've been revamping these articles non stop recently. It affects all users on differnet networks & different image file types.

Any help in fixing this would be much appreciated.

Thank you for providing public examples. When I look at the pages, only one displays some issues.  This is the one that shows issues:

The issues I saw are these:

The broken images lead to dead links, such as this one:

But the working ones lead into an existing file:

The other link you shared, shows no apparent issues:

With this in mind, I would suggest that we start by looking at the original files for the broken images and also the content that could not be converted.

The broken files will need to be added back into your page for them to display there. If we look specifically at the images that appear broken, the link is always this:

You mentioned that copying and pasting images also do not work. There is an open bug report that tackles this behavior:

• copy and pasting images will not attach the image to the page

Hi Diego,

Every page that had broken images (ignore the broken link ones, i thought those one's had already been changed but was wrong) have suddenly come back. It's like by asking the question on here and you having a look they've come back to life. Hopefully they stay visible now, thanks!
