Pulling data from SAP System

sushant.tawde@vistaprint.com September 17, 2020

We need to pull some data from SAP into Confluence. Is this possible?

Basically there is a requirement for getting some SAP details (user, roles, t-codes, etc) through queries which will be run in Confluence page. This will avoid users going into SAP to get the required details.

Hi sushant.tawde@vistaprint.com,

As @Rudy Holtkamp has kindly indicated, we offer 2 apps in this area. One is called External Fata for Jira Fields and the other is called External Data for Confluence

Both apps can connect to a variety of data sources and pull data either into Jira or Confluence, depending on where is more useful to you.

There are also some videos available in the documentation that highlight the main features.

I would recommend that you start a free trial and see if you can get your use case working. Of course you can always contact our support if you have any questions on the way.

I hope that this will help.

Best,
Thomas

Hi sushant.tawde@vistaprint.com ,

You can pull data from other sources with the help of an app. A nice one is External Data for Jira ( @Thomas Opiolka take it away).
