We are in the process of upgrading our Jira and Confluence Server instances to Data Center and during this process we want to provide our teams a Jira and Confluence Read-Only servers.

Wea re trying to make Confluence server read-only, but only 'easy' options are thru plugins and we can't get license for Server version :D

Does anyone have any idea on how to restrict access to Confluence Server, with no plugins and not going to each space and removing access?

Thank you for your ideas,

Anca

Hi @Anca Cristescu

You can may be still use Time bomb licences on the plugins to set the restricted authorizations.

Here are those licences : https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/marketplace/timebomb-licenses-for-testing-server-apps/

Without any plugin, you will have to develop a script using the Confluence API to modify the permission.
