Problem with pocket query on update statement on a table

Georg June 10, 2016

I have the following statement

update  DBMANAGER.PROJECT set stellvertreter = :neuer where stellvertreter =:alter and nametechnisch = :project

when I press the "Change" button, the statement will probably run and change the values but  with the error message

Hi Georg!

Thanks for your interest in PocketQuery. I have to tell you: you're running a manipulating statement with PocketQuery. This is not supported. PocketQuery was designed as a read-only tool and only select statements will really work. Sorry to disappoint you.

Regards, Felix
