Printing pages on Linux always has first black page

Austin Luu July 17, 2012

Whenever printing pages from Confluence on a Linux machine, the first page will always be completely black. I suspect that the banner is responsible for this and would like to find a way to get rid of the banner.

Hi Austin

As Rian said, this seems to be related with some customization. However top make sure if the problem is related to this - as you are in a Linux machine - you may print the page on a pdf file instead of send it to the printer.

If the blank page still appears on the pdf, is more like a customization problem. Otherwise, if this just happens when printing the page this may be related to how the information is been send to the printer pool.

Either way is important to check if the behavior persists when printing the page from other browsers.

Hi Austin,

I am suspecting this issue might be related to some customization on your Confluence. Could you please try to revert them to default and check if everything works well. In addition to that, try to export to pdf and see whether the same thing occurred. Hope this helps!
