Popular tab infinite loading

Hi !

I am migrating and updating Confluence from 4.2 to 5.2 to 5.3.

When I updated Confluence to 5.3, the popular tab on the dashboard don't work. The loader makes infinite loops. On Confluence 4.2, this tab worked.

The others tabs work great and I searched on the web but I don't found a solution ...

Hello Alexandre,

I see you mentioned you are upgrading from 4.2 to 5.2 and then to 5.3. Is there any particular reason you're upgrading to 5.2 before 5.3? If not, you can go straight from 4.2 to 5.3.

Regarding to the loading taking forever, have you had the chance to rebuild your index from scratch after performing the upgrade? Please, have a look on this documentation to understand how to perform this.

No particular reason, it's just a mistake when I downloaded Confluence :)

I've made a rebuild of indexes ... but the problem is still here

That's weird. Since I do not have your logs to have a look at, can you please try to follow this KB, which describes the same problem you're facing?
