Hi,
We have imported an external space from a zip file.
After importing we cannot see and access the space.
We can see the space in the space permissions page, but as we are on the free plan we cannot manage any permissions.
As far as we know every user should have access to every space on the free plan.
Does anyone know how this works?
Thanks in advance,
Patrick
Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
You can't manage permissions on a free plan. I recommend upgrading it to a Standard trial, making the changes, and letting it downgrade to the free plan after the trial period. So, if you plan to import more spaces in the future, adjust the source permissions so you don't get into this scenario again.
Hi @Ivan Lima ,
Thank you for your swift response!
Ok so if i understand correctly the permissions must be set correctly in the source space before being exported?
If that is done correctly there should not be a need for permission adjustment.
In this case we know the owner of the source space, so we will contact them to adjust it.
Cheers Patrick

That's right. "Set correctly in the source space" means to ensure all your groups/users have matching groups with identical names in the destination site before importing the space. Thus, permissions are kept, and you don't fall under the same situation.
