Hello,
is it possible to reset the user password logged in within the administrator menu?
If the user “password reset” function ain’t working in specific cases, we have to delete the user each time ...
Thanks in Advance
Welcome to the Atlassian community @Naramsin Garbou !
When you select the user from "Show details" option there are three dots that when you click them there is an option "Prompt for password" reset. This is for the unmanaged account.
If the account is however managed - you can see this in admin.atlassian.com and selecting your organization then Managed accounts, select the user that you want to change the password and click on "Reset password"
If nothing works, user can change their password from the Atlassian side by clicking on Forgot your password option.

Nikola
Thank you very much,
I'm not able to select an organization, I have to create a new one.
We are using Confluence, the URL is: https://101neo.intern.wiesbaden.net/
How can i proceed?

In that case, you would need to select the "Forgot your password" option

hI @Nikola Perisic As site admin , i was able to perform "Prompt reset password' for unmanaged account , but recently but recently that option has been greyed out
And it shows some action are not available for role.
What setting is required and who can give access to perform "Prompt reset password' ?

I don't even see the option now as an Org admin - now way to actually reset password for users. It disappeared after we've been switched to "new administration experience"

The User you’re trying to do a password reset for needs to log into your jira or confluence product at least once before you can reset their password. This is a security feature to stop random sites from inviting you and resetting your password.
The user can reset their own password too.
