Hi everybody!
We would like to buy this plugin but I don't know business requirements for this plugin.
License for our organization's confluence is 250 User.

Can you explain if we want buy this plugin: Should we pay for 250 users or it is optional because only specific users will use this plugin it may be 10 or 15 users.

Hi @Jamil Rahimov,

the way that app licensing works, is that the license of the app has to match the size of the host product license. I think a few vendors allow you to buy a special license directly through the app vendor (and not the Marketplace), that allows you to have a smaller app license than the host product license. However, this requires the vendor to build in their own licensing mechanism into their apps, in addition to the official one, so this will generally not be the case for most apps.

You can find more information about this in the Marketpplace licensing FAQ: https://www.atlassian.com/licensing/marketplace#licensing-purchasing

EDIT: So, yes, in your case you would have to buy a 250 user license.

Best regards,
Sven
