Non-breaking space

How do I include a non-breaking space in Confluence, and in a table cell? 

I've found this old thread, but it didn't help.

I've tried copying from Wikipedia, it didn't work.

the new editor does not have the capability to insert symbols but instead relies on the functionality built into the OS.  For Windows, hold the Alt key, type 0160 and release Alt to get a

I confirm that using \u00A0 (character code 160) in Python will insert a non-breaking space into a wiki markup file that can be written to Confluence via the REST API

Thanks @Wade Tracy _Boise_ ID_ ,

That solved my no break space problem. Only thing that threw me is, the space doesn't appear until you release the 'alt' key.
