My page is being shared as I edit

Hi There,

I have a space in Confluence which contains my monthly reports. It's always been fine - I copy the previous report and create my new one - I then send the link to the new report out. This month people who would usually get this sent to them were getting 'edit' notifications before I had sent the the link. There are usually no edit notifications sent out.

I've included a part of the notification that was sent out below - I haven't changed any settings and this hasn't happened before - needless to say they weren't thrilled.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Are you sure you didn't happen to edit the page prior to making the copy?  I was not able to recreate.  Can you share your steps to recreate.
