Minimal backup not enough

When I use the minimal backup from https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/production-backup-strategy-38797389.html I find that the "space directory" is empty/missing spaces when restoring. By minimal I mean

• <conf-home>/confluence.cfg.xml
• <conf-home>/attachments

as your doc says. Confluence 7.0.4. Could you please verify that the minimal backup strategy is really working?

Hi @Andreas Kinzler , 

this "minimal backup" actually only applies to the configuration of your Confluence instance. All the data (spaces, pages, blogs, etc) is in your database, so the minimal strategy is :

• backup your Confluence database
• backup these 2 configuration files

Sorry for the misunderstanding: Of course I did backup the database. The pages seem to be there, but the Space Directory is missing items.
