Hi, I am trying to work through the example and understand the Metadata macro as shown on this page here https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF43/Metadata+Macro

I don't have the {metadata} macro at all. This may be becuase I installed the Metadata Plugin, and that seems to repalce the metadata macro with one specific to the metadata plugin.

But since then, I have disabled and uninstalled the Metadata plugin and there is still no metadata macro. How do I get this back?

I'm using 4.3.1

Hallo Jodie

Yes, you're right. The Metadata Macro is actually the Metadata Details macro. I have recently done a complete rewrite of the documentation:

Ah, my mistake, thinking I am looking at the current documentation when I was looking at CONF43 (as 4.3 is the currently released version).

No, you're completely right. Confluence 4.3 is the latest released version. And we're now developing the docs for 5.0 and OnDemand, which are ahead of 4.3. I wish I had time to back-port all the improvements in the docs to previous versions. Alas, there are just never enough of us tech writers. :p

Interestingly the {metadatadetails} macro documentation link goes to this page. So it looks like the metadata macro is actually the metadatadetails macro. Can someone from Atlassian confirm this (and maybe update the page?
