We on Confluence cloud and I am unable to select two cells in a table to merge. When I try to select 2 adjacent cells the next row gets selected.
On clicking the drop down arrow at the top left corner of the relevant cell, the 'Merge Cells' option seem to be disabled - when I take the cursor there the stop sign appears and that does not allow me to select that option either.
How do I merge ?
Hi @Subhaashinie Dastalinggam I found this Community Article on merging cells, it worked for me.
Hope it helps.
that link seems to be related to the datacenter/server version of Confluence. In cloud Confluence i cannot find the merge button anywhere...

Hi @Tibor Molnar ,
You may check this article related to the Cloud Confluence version: https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/resources/guides/best-practices/make-tables#make-quick-work-of-tables
6. Merge cells by highlighting them, then clicking Cell options at any cell’s top-right corner and choosing Merge cells.

As far as i know, merging table cells isn't supported yet in Confluence Cloud, so the "Merge Cells" option is disabled.
