Max number of groups in Confluence.

What is the maximum number of groups that can be taken into Confluence? Are there any limitations?

Hey Sergio,

As stated by the guys above, there should be no limit of groups/users/pages for Confluence instances. Just bear in mind that according to the number of content that we implement in the instance, we can find some performance issues, since it would make the size of the instance to increase.

Given that, do you have in mind what would be the number of groups that you want to implement?

Sergio,

We do not have a max number of groups in Confluence, you can add how much you would like.

Hi Sergio,

we have AD groups and there are hunderds groups

But Atlassian recommendation is this: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/User+Management+Limitations+and+Recommendations

But we have a really a lot of groups and without problems.
